I started in healthcare as a CNA at DeKalb Hospital. In 2015, I graduated with my BSN from University of Saint Francis. After working as a RN for a year at DeKalb, I sought a greater challenge which I found in the Surgical-Trauma ICU at PRMC. I worked in the ICU for 4 years. During my time in the ICU, I realized I wanted to help people on a more personal level and really emphasize improvement in quality of life. I graduated with my MSN from the University of Saint Francis in 2020 and am excited to begin my role as a nurse practitioner! Along with my new role in the clinic, I also work as adjunct faculty teaching student nurses in the BSN program at the University of Saint Francis. When I am not working, I am spending my time with my family, working on home improvement projects, or getting outside and enjoying nature. On the occasion I have some time to myself, I enjoy curling up with a good book or interesting medical journal.
